AUThe view was amazing - we absolutely loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying the view.
It's not that we didn't like it, but it is an older building in a rural area and therefore lots of spiders and webs around the outside of the house. This didn't impact our stay, and the view and kitchen facilities make up for everything.

The surrounding of the house needs to be tidied up. The milk in the fridge was expired already. The plunger hasn't been cleaned (still has some tea leaves in it)

I don’t usually write bad reviews, however, the place was not clean and stank of dampness/mold, smashed window in bedroom which I noticed another person commented on back in 2023? No firewood, which would have made up for everything as it was freezing cold and lastly the roof gutters were all filled with dirt and had plants growing out of them. We never met the owners, I assume they live overseas and don’t take much care of the place, it’s a shame because it could be an amazing place with a bit of love!

Mouldy place. There was mould everywhere. Only since we traveled from Whangārei and tired because of driving , we chose to adjust and stay.
NZLoved the whole feel about the house, on top of the world up there. Beautiful breathtaking views, house was warm. Loved our stay good for families and very peaceful 🤗 Definitely would stay again
