GBThe kitchen was nice and new and everything worked. The view was lovely as were the deer and alpacas. Inside the place looked clean.
The internet was very poor. One of the bedrooms smelled of damp and had a broken pane of glass on the external window, there was an inside pane intact. The guttering was blocked with clumps of grass so when it rained the gutters overflowed. Overall the house felt run down except for the kitchen. There was no salt and pepper or kitchen roll the kitchen utensils were very basic. The curtains felt cheep and did not cover the full windows. The taps in the bathroom gave a trickle of cold water. There was a message on arrival saying if you are not out by 10am on date of departure you will be charged an extra night. Could be lovely but it needs a lot of work. We would not recommend it.
NZWe left a child’s soft toy behind - they were very good about us returning to collect. The bottle of wine in the fridge was a nice touch!

the house is a bit old, and needing some TLC. furnitures are quite aged. but the kitchen is nice with big window to look out.
NZNZNZNZBeing greeted by (fenced off) adorable alpaca and deer on entry was unexpected and so beautiful! the house has an amazing view over Rotorua with glistening lights at night and steam clouds over the lake in the morning. It was quiet, clean, and spacious. Perfect for a technology free weekend away from work and social media notifications as there was no wifi - though mobile data does work if you really need it. Bring some card/board games with you and have a lovely time.
There was no hot water when we arrived, this was working by the morning though.

ZAThe beds were comfortable and clean , the view is nice once you look past the surrounding scrapyard
The house is old and rundown , in real need of some proper maintenance and TLC, the smell of mould was everywhere and almost overpowering , the house and especially the roof is infested with rats (struggled to sleep with all the scratching) the fireplace was left dirty and with no firelighters or dry wood. The area around the house is cluttery and dirty and numerous scrapped cars in your view. Very expensive for what you get for a night (money could have been spent much better in a hotel).
