Good quiet location by the canal, walkable into the centre. Comfortable and clean.

The kitchen could do with a little updating.

Mold all over the sink. Mold is spores that you breath in , and if like me you have many diseases, its embeds in your lungs and its deadly. The rooms were dark. The old wood in the kitchen was a nightmare to clean. Thank god, we only stayed 2 days. We were attending a wedding and had our 2 pugs in tow. Not good enough. When we arrived there was no hot water. There wasnt enough on the bed. Im used to travelling to cottages . With the dogs we go to cottages 3 times a year. This is the first time ive booked on booking .com.

Location was great

The garden was a mess overgrown with weeds. The TV signal is not too good

House wasn't clean, dust everywhere, dirty carpets. We found a used packet of drugs which was left behind by previous guests. This was left on the dinning table under one of the coasters. I did get a partial refund for our stay, however I would still warn people not to book here, especially with young children. The pictures were taken a long time ago and don't reflect what the house looks like now. I was asked not to write a review by the host however I don't think it is fair for people to pay money and receive the service we did.

Fab location. Had everything that we needed. Plenty of room for a group to spread out.

Parking was very difficult. I had some advice from locals to park in the nearby Lidl- free, and a short walk along the canal.

Easy to find. Well located. Met our needs for the weekend.

Narrow street parking and difficulty parking outside the house, which can be an issue if you are in and out a lot, but fortunately we weren't.

the property was spacious clean and tidy. easy to follow check-in details. good location close to the centre of Chester. we all had a lovely weekend and would visit again in the future.

parking was very tight. but that is out of the control of the owners.
