Central to visit the new and old town.

We loved the medieval stone work, terrace, and location in the medieval part of Salerno, together with the tea, coffee, and other items plus the kitchen facilities. The host was incredibly helpful with information on sites and where to find groceries and pizza.

Salerno is the perfect place for daytrips to the Amalfi coast and Pompeji and the appartement is amazing. We liked it that much that we spontanously stayed one night longer!

We loved this apartment. Perfectly located to be able to walk to all key points of interest. The hosts met us in the Piazza and walked with us to the apartment. It was so comfortable. Absolutely everything we needed and the bed was supremely comfortable. Lots of hot water and great water pressure in the shower. The kitchen is a great place to hang out and we cooked each night of our stay. There is a fully stocked grocery store just around the corner, as well the hosts left us some tasty breakfast items, as well as oil, salt, balsamic etc for cooking. Added bonus of a washing machine and a little patio to be able to hang clothes. We would stay here again for sure.

Il Normanno is a great historical appartment in the heart of Historic Center of Salerno!! terrific location!! next to tons of shops, restaurants,cafes, and near the beautiful boardwalk and other places to visit. Very convenient parking. Beautiful terrace. Gerardo, the host, trully makes his best to make visitors feel at home. He was available to us at any time, he made sure we got everything we needed: Nice breakfast, city tips and local info. It is a very safe area and appartment. We would recommend Il Normanno to everyone visiting Salerno for short or long stays. Grazie mille Gerardo!!

Gerardo and Ester are the best hosts ever! Very kindly and helpful. Gerardo gave us a lot of interesting information for sightseeing historical places like Pompeii and Paestum. The apartment is beautiful, comfortable, very clean and spaclous in the historical centre of Salerno. We had a great time in Salerno and we definitely want to go back again. Thank you Gerardo and Ester for nice talks and stay!

Host is excellent, attentive, kind and tidy. Appartament was clean, well equipped and beautiful. The location is the best. I can't think of a better place to stay in Salerno. Thank you gerardo very much. I'll be back ❤️
