Il Normanno Home

My friend and I very much enjoyed staying at Il Normanno Home because it was a lovely home: comfortable, clean and in a great location in Salerno. The location is central – close to shops, restaurants, the train station and especially the port. We went on wonderful adventures on the ferries to Amalfi, Positano, Capri and Sorrento. However, Solerno itself is a beautiful seaside city.

We couldn’t fault the property.

Amazing location in the old town with easy access to restaurants and shopping. Gerardo has been the most helpful host! We felt we were staying in an authentic Italian family home, complete with a kitchen (with breakfast supplies included), and a washing machine to do some washing if needed & a cute little patio too.

Maybe remove some furniture from the bathroom to create more space.

Perfect location. The house is very nice and comfortable. The owner is so kind and ready to help for everything. For us was a big pleasure to meet him. One of the best place ever been.

The terrace into the courtyard is awesome. It Ian close to beach and just off the main thoroughfare. The host was great.

The apartment is located on one of the most beautiful streets of Salerno in the historic center next to a beautiful square. The location is excellent, from there it is easy to get to the promenade and the most beautiful sights. There are many shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. The apartment is beautiful, in a harmonious style and with a charming atmosphere. The apartment is very clean, well equipped and pleasantly cool even on hot days. A very cozy terrace with a lemon tree growing in front of it (It is also convenient to dry clothes on the terrace). Mr Gerardo is an attentive and kind host. We had the feeling that we came to a friend who is ready to help and give advice in everything. The owner met us at the square and showed us to the apartment. He also greeted us with a large welcome pack (croissants, cookies, juice, coffee capsules, etc) We had a very good time. When we return to Salerno we will definitely stay at this apartment. Thank you Mr Gerardo and see you next year!

We had enough of everything, but some guests may need a kettle, a small microwave, as well as a large knife, and a cutting board.

Hosts were so nice. Left breakfast items even though we weren’t expecting. Large place so great for a family and great location. Good restaurant close by. Would definitely come again. Were made to feel very welcome.

Everything! The location. How clean and well equipped the home is. Gerardo is so kind and helpful!

The property is in a central location, close to beaches, running/walking trails, grocery stores and restaurants. The condo has a well equipped kitchen and I enjoyed the complimentary coffee. The place is well decorated and has a cool design, as it’s located in an old building. Both the owner and his daughter, were knowledgeable, kind and easy to communicate with!
