A beautifully old house that was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to experience. Gerardo was also a beautiful attentive and welcoming host. Excellent location in the Old Town.

Located in historical city centre, but at the same time very quiet and cosy. Perfect communication with the host. Strongly recommended!

We had a great stay in Il Normanno home. The location is more than perfect, between the old town and the modern part of the city! The owner was really helpful, the apartment is spacious enought for 4 people. Where is a small balkony for the morning coffee.

The location was exceptional, the host was extremely welcoming and helpful both before and during our stay, this made a big difference to us and made us feel very at home and comfortable in Salerno :)

Some more seating in the living area would have been ideal for our family but overall the accommodation was very pleasant and servicable

This really lovely little apartment was in a great location - easy walk from the station and easy access to restaurants, shops and the ferry for Amalfi coast. The host was very welcoming and explained how things worked in the apartment before leaving us to enjoy our 3 days there. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

If it had a washing machine, we would have given it a 10/10. There are about a dozen steps upon entering the apartment, so heavy bags are a bit of challenge, but not necessarily a criticism, just something worth considering.

Garardo's house was perfect for us! This was the best place we stayed. in our 10 day trip to Italy. I was traveling with my 3 adult children 22,20,18. It was nice to have a space with enough beds to sleep all of us and also have common areas to spread out but still be together. The house is a short walk from the main station. Gerardo met us in the square just down from the house with the key. He let us in, showed us the house and later texted us a lot of information about the area. The house was extremely clean. Lots of fresh towels for all of us. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom had very hot shower with good water pressure. Air conditioner worked well. Better than any of the hotels we stayed at. Gerardo left us some bottled water, muffins and croissants. The kitchen was well equipped. There were restaurants and shops right next to the home but the home itself sat back in a quiet passageway. It was also a brief 10 min walk to the pier to meet our boat for a trip down the Amalfi coast. I loved my stay here. Highly recommended.
