very cold in December but portable heater was available. equipped kitchen. for Christmas we got wine and cookies as a surprise from the hosts. very nice. 50 meters from the house a bar with great poncha and nikita. overall nice place.

no instructions on self check in. garden chairs unusable. all of them collapsed after a few sittings.

Had the whole house for myself, perfectly located in the center of the village, nice view points in walking distance, nice hikes close by, would come again!

Spaceous house with everything you need, nice place to sit on the roof + great location (if you have a car you can move all around easily. there was also a view point over the ocean just a few minutes away.

Not necessarely something to dislike but, indeed, the house is old and has a tipical smell - if you ever had grandparents living in village houses this shouldn't bother you (we were not bothered)

I would 100% come back here again. Perfect for solo travellers as it’s cheap and perfect for large groups. Everything you need was there. There was a problem with the hot water but after only 5 minutes, it was fixed. 10/10

Lots of space, we had everything we needed including any common kitchen appliance, WiFi, 3 bedrooms, a TV. Seemingly freshly cleaned when we arrived. Would be a good spot for a group of people who have personal transport as it's hard to get to places by foot.

The location isn't great if you don't drive. It's in a very remote part of the island. A couple of small local grocery shops and a cafe or 2 but apart from that it's mainly farmland with limited transport options to other places. Also insects managed to make their way into the house. We had to change bedrooms halfway through the stay due to what I think were wood ants all over the wall. We woke up to black worms in the sink which eventually started coming in through the back door.

Older, little house with several bedrooms, a kitchen and facilities. Located in the center of the village and next to a bus station, but still quiet enough.

Everything was just fine. Only people over approx. 175 cm height should watch their head. All older houses in Madeira may have these low door heights. But again, all good at this place.
