Solar Arco de São Jorge

Solar Arco de São Jorge is one of the best apartments we've ever been to. Situated in quiet village Arco de São Jorge in northern part of Madeira, away from crowds, it is still close enough to every "must see" tourist point on Madeira island. Everything is within 1 hour reach by car. Apartment is fully equipped with anything you need for a week stay. Above all, Abel greets you with large amounts of local produce, including fruits, cake, fresh eggs, wine, bread and home made tuna fish dish. We stayed in newly decorated apartment on the ground floor having access to the patio. Sheep at the property were also very friendly and we gladly fed them when Abel was not around. Same goes for community cats that are all over the village. Parking is on site within the property accessible by remote controlled gate. If you want to avoid hussle and bussle of Funchal and entire south coast, this is the place for you. Outstanding hospitality and tranquil surroundings.

Très bien recu avec un panier de fruit, des boissons, un flan maison, du pain, de la charcuterie. C'est une très gentille attention qui nous a permis de dejuner après notre voyage sans a voir a ressortir. Le logement est grand et propre. Le cadre avec le jardin est très agréable.

Impossible de faire fonctionner Netflix sur la TV, surement un probleme de reglage. Un peu de produit menager et un seau serait un plus pour faire son menage sur une periode longue. Un potre vetements dans la salle de bain serait aussi un plus.

Sehr schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Schöne Lage in einem ruhigen Dorf. Meerblick und Bergpanorama 👍. Die Terrasse und der Garten sind besonders toll. Optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge.

Genial. Atención de 10 y el entorno es una maravilla. Cerca de varios PR. el alojamiento muy bien y además te deja el primer día productos caseros espectaculares (fruta, flan casero, huevos)

Estando 1 semana no estaría mal que fueran al menos una vez a limpiar el apartamento

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer traumhaften Umgebung, umgeben von Natur und mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die Landschaft Madeiras. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Besonders gefallen hat uns die herzliche Gastfreundschaft, die Ruhe und die besondere Atmosphäre des Ortes.

Es gab nichts Negatives – wir haben unseren Aufenthalt rundum genossen.
