Solar Arco de São Jorge

They not only met us with the keys, but there was some food in the fridge and fruit on the table. That was fantastic, because we didn't have to rush out for food as soon as we arrived. Plus the sheep were super cute.

It was a bit cool and damp. We ran the small heater, but it could also use a dehumidifier.

In the winter month/ February we stayed, the heating was not adequate.

The house was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. I was able to cook as at home. Me and my family have been impressed about all. The host prepared the dinner for us, including a delicious cake. In the refrigerator we found a lot of food for the breakfast, champagne, beers, a bottle of wine, water, juice, a huge basket with fruits, fresh eggs. I strongly recommend this house. I would definitely come back any time.

A wonderful accommodation that fully met our requirements. Situated in a place where there are few tourists, you have the original character. The house has several units but each has its own area (also outside on the terrace) which is very nice. The view is of the beautiful garden, the mountains and the sea. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired and everything is beautifully and tastefully furnished and new. Everything is really there and much more. We were greeted with very tasty home-cured fish and a pudding, the fridge was already very well stocked and there was wine waiting for us. Many thanks again for that. It was all very tasty and was a very nice welcome. The handover of the flat went smoothly and the check-out was also well organised. An absolute recommendation. By the way, don't forget that there is a beautiful sea view point at the end of the street. We were there in the evening and had the place to ourselves.

Beautiful and relaxing place to stay with all the needed comfort. Private parking space available. The hosts are really nice and even provided some food and drinks on arrival.

Very nice and quiet place. The owner's father was waiting for our arrival and was super friendly and generous. After our arrival we found many refreshments and food in the fridge that was very nice due to the fact we were tired after long journey and we did not have to find any shop or restaurant. Hope we will return in the future :)

The apartment had everything that we needed and more. The garden was beautiful and we enjoyed just sitting outside sometimes with some drinks. The area was very quiet, which we loved after a day of hiking, swimming and exploring the island. Abel, Edgar and their family and friends are extraordinarily welcoming and we were able to get amazing tips for the area as well as enjoy some of their fruit and vegetable harvests.

We had two little cases of ants, but nothing a bit of anti insect spray could not solve.
