This place is amazing. We were stunned. The ower greeted us with lunch and dessert. There were fruits, drinks and other tasty things in the fridge. Location is beauiful, we enjoyed resting with the view of the ocean, mountains and vineyards. Miraduro is only 150 m from the house. We really enjoyed living at the northern part of the island. The apartment was clean and spacious.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations, I can't think of any mistakes. The owners are lovely and explain everything, plus they left us loads of local goodies including homemade eggs (eggs last us for three days breakfasts), homemade pudding, fruit from their garden and their own Madeira wine. Rooms equipped with everything you can think of, as well as kitchens where you will find literally everything you can think of. In the accommodation there is also a book with a description of the Madeira levadas, which we successfully used. As I wrote - the accommodation exceeded our expectations and if we go to Madeira again, this will definitely be the first place we look for accommodation.

We stayed 7 nights. Our flight was delayed so we arrived at night, but the host was still there to welcome us, friendly! Loved the homemade food, the fruit and gifts. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, dish washer and laundry machine. Safe to park your car on the property. Pretty terrace with great views. Never heard the sheep inside.. We also liked the village Arco Sao Jorge; it's peaceful, has a scenic miradouro on the end of the street of Arco And on the other side, just around the corner there's a nice snackbar (La Ladeira). I would recommend this vacation home to everyone!

The location was fantastic for exploring the northern side of Madeira; the view of this town from Sao Jorge, a must see! The size of the property was wonderful. The fresh eggs and Madeira wine upon arrival (among so many other home-grown/made culinary "welcome" items) - were such a delight, thank you Abel. You are the best host and we enjoyed watching you tend to your paradise - you always had something wonderful to say to us, too.

We really liked the accomodation, it was a great location for trips and also the house itself was nicely reconstructed. The apartment was fully equiped including outside grill. We could really feel like at home. We also apprechiated generous gift from the house owners in form of local food and drinks. There was also parking place inside the garden for our car.
