Wakari Holiday Home

The city had a major street parade on as we arrived in town, difficulty trying to get to the property, lots of road closures for the parade and for upgrading the roads around the city and lots of "no right turns" took us an extra 45 minutes.

The location is closed to business centre and quiet neighbourhood. It was clean and we enjoyed our stay. The owner, Tim is friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here if we will have another holiday in Dunedin.

The location was great, super quiet. The facilities were clean and well-kept. Nice large house for our family to relax in.

The beds weren't super comfortable but were still okay to sleep in. There weren't any common condiments etc. just salt and pepper.

The transition strips between toilet room and hall and bedroom and hall next to living area were missing. It’s a tripping hazard - minor but a good thing to fix.

I really loved the house for our stay in Dunedin. It was very clean and was just what we needed as a family of 5. Plenty of room in the living areas and the rooms were comfortable. Heaters and a heat pump kept us warm throughout our stay. Very good vaule for money. Will definitely be coming back next time we visit Dunedin

The only thing and its really to everyones preference, the beds were a little on the firm side for my liking but everything else was great

Beautiful, super clean home away from home, lovely host who was very helpful and easily contactable. Lovely to arrive to a warmly lite house, host had put heatpump and lamps on before our arrival, was much appreciated after our drive up from Southland. Added bonus of a bath tub and lovely coffee machine. Will definitely stay again.

Awesome place to stay at. Great contact with the owners. The house was spacious, warm and easy to access. It had everything you would need.

Big, spacious house with a great shares lounge/kitchen area.

It was nice that the owner popped over to say hello but would have preferred that she wait for us to say come in before just knocking and entering. The bottom door was unlocked, some visitors might not have noticed, which is not great safety-wise.
