After an initial issue with our booked room Beatriz (host) moved us to another apartment which we absolutely loved. Location is very rural so a car is essential but it's perfect if you want a peaceful and relaxing holiday. A lovely town called Vizela is a 10 minute drive away, there are supermarkets which are well stocked and also a lovely square with bars and restaurants where the locals congrigate in the evenings which makes for a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Other towns like Guimaraes are nearby are no matter where we ate the food was excellent.

Coast is a good 45 minutes away so if your looking for a beach holiday be prepared to travel.

Personal taste but the bed was a bit too soft. Ideally, I would prefer a n orthopedic mattress, usually those have better back support.

Our stay at Quinta de Pergountoro for our wedding was nothing short of exceptional. Beatriz and her mother went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness during our 5-night stay. They graciously allowed us to use the stunning grounds for wedding photos and provided access to the clubhouse for the entire day. Every request, including additional kitchen items, was met with kindness and generosity. The property itself is breathtaking, with immaculate grounds that perfectly complemented our special occasion. Beatriz and her mother are truly the best hosts one could hope for, embodying warmth, professionalism, and a genuine care for their guests. Unfortunately, another couple staying at the property caused some unnecessary drama, demanding extra compensation after already receiving a full refund. Despite this, Beatriz handled the situation with grace and professionalism. Thank you, Beatriz, for making our wedding unforgettable. We are so grateful and look forward to returning soon. Clean, well presented, lovely quiet lication

Very nice welcome from the host. Cozy, clean, beautiful view. We enjoyed it very much.

We would welcome towel racks in the bathroom. There is nowhere to dry wet clothes on rainy days.

Beatriz the host was very accommodating. She took the time to explain the facilities, local surroundings and recommended places to eat. Facilities on site were great overall with easy parking, use of the washing machine. A lovely quiet area with nice views.

Only that the room had a one small window to let in natural light.
