Quinta do Perguntouro

Very well located the perfect distance for us to visit Porto, Guimarães, Braga, etc. It sits at the edge of a really nice small village but it’s very secluded and private. Beautiful sunsets over the garden. The pool was excellent and the property very well maintained.

I would only add a charging facility for electric vehicles. Otherwise everything is perfect.

Beautiful place, courteous hosts, fair price. We came here in a storm and felt nice, cosy and taken care of.

We would have liked softer lighting and towel hangers.

This was one of the most comfortable and relaxing places I've ever stayed. It was peaceful and quiet, with all the facilities we needed, and stupendous views from the terrace. Joana and Beatriz met us on arrival and were super welcoming. It was wonderful to chat with them!

We have just arrived home from a wonderful week at Quinta do Perguntouro. We were greeted by the friendly and welcoming hosts Joanna and Luis on arrival who showed us to our villa (Casa da Eira). The villa is beautifully finished to a high standard with everything you could want during your stay - the aircon was amazing and kept us cool in the 30+°C heat. Small but perfectly formed we were very comfortable in the bedroom which accommodates a king size bed and a travel cot easily. Only 10 minutes away from Vizela where you can find all the big name supermarkets we were pleasantly surprised at the calm and tranquility up on the hill where the accommodation is situated. The view from the salt pool area is exceptional looking down at the vineyards and churches around the valley. Both the villa and the pool area are great for young children as plenty of room to safely crawl and explore whilst keeping an eye on them. We are happily recommending this place to friends and family as we have had a relaxing and enjoyable week and the hosts are lovely people who can't do enough to make sure you have a pleasant stay. We look forward to coming back in the future!

Due to the hillside location there is a steep slope between the lower area where the games room, laundry and one pool are located and the upper accommodations/ salt pool. This wasn't an issue for us at all but would be worth bearing in mind if someone has mobility issues.

Beautiful and well-maintained property at convenient location for exploring northern Portugal by car. Quiet surrounding during the day and night. Pool and grill available in the garden as well as a gaming room with pool table and foosball to chill and relax. Very kind hosts.

Beautiful place, fantastic scenery, Owners exceptional couldn't have asked for any better. Very helpful, polite, made you feel at ease and very welcome. Didn't want to leave.

Remote car is needed but was able to get a taxi :)
