Glanafon Cottage

Excellent location. Close to all hot spots. Bonus is the river flow behind the cottage. Well maintained property with all facilities.

Car parking is communal/shared. So it's always a fight to find a spot near cottage. No lock on bathroom door.

Beautiful river views and a lovely well fitted out house.

Lovely relaxing stay, view from the garden was beautiful. We came to visit Aber Falls, would highly recommend. The slate museum is also worth a visit.

The bathroom was quite damp but it didn't affect our stay.

A super cottage which was clean and comfortable. The patio area at the back was gorgeous with beautiful views. Definitely recommend and would stay again. The area is stunning! We came mainly for the Zip World experience which was brilliant!

The only issue was the parking. The parking spaces were often already taken. Very tight to manoeuvre. Also felt there could’ve been a little more of an information pack about what’s available in the village. No Guest Book which is often informative? The only thing I would say about the cottage is that there’s no wardrobe in the bedroom, just hooks so you would need to bring hangers for clothes with you. And low ceiling coming down the stairs, if you’re tall, watch out! Could do with a sign above of some sort, but I’m just being picky.

the location was nice.

There was no rail or wardrobe in the main bedroom (or the second bedroom) only 4 hooks on a wall but with no coat hangers supplied! Nowhere to put your clothes in the bathroom, other than on the toilet seat or floor. Nowhere to hang out wet towels. Could do with a clothes airier. The space in the fridge was small and hardly any cupboard space for groceries in the kitchen. If a family rented this place they would struggle to get all necessary food in the fridge. A radio in the kitchen would have been nice. We found the bed in the main bedroom very small and subsequently did not sleep well at all.
