Cheerful 4 Bedroom Holiday Home (Sleeps 7)

Lots of space, which was he was at for our family.

The home was great, we were able to relax and enjoy the comforts of home. The shower was great and having the option of doing our washing was fantastic. Beds were ok. It would have been nice to have some basics like salt and pepper in the pantry for cooking.

Unfortunately the beds did not have top sheets which we didn't like. The section was unkept and driveway was very untidy. I guess it's nothing to do with the ambiance of the bnb but didn't look great driving in. The home smelt very strongly of curry food which I couldn't get rid of by opening windows. The heat pump didn't work and the stove top didn't work with the pots. Unsure why. Possibly induction and pots didn't match. Or my ability to use the jolly thing.

the size of the house, location

in the bedroom where I slept the 2/single bed had no top sheets only a douve and in my opinion is not very igenic overall I was quite happy.

great location near geiser and easy access to everything. quiet neighborhood and easy parking. The fireplace in the living room was lovely to hang around in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed for home cooked meals. The place has all the bare essentials for a family stay in Rotorua.

there's only one bathroom so it took hours for 6 people to get ready in the morning. There's no linen on the beds so we had to pay extra for this and bath towels. There was no hand towels so we had to go to the market to buy those plus soap and shampoo. The comforters and walls have suspicious-looking stains. Also, the constant smell of sulfur was okay for most of us, but one person had headache from it.

I liked the location

Parts of the house were not clean,shower,kitchen sink and faucet had ants all over ,shower had pubic hair on shower floor.

Instructions were clear, beds comfortable, house warm. Had everything we needed for an overnight stay.

Would asking extra $60 linen, which booking.com told no cash transaction. I will highly ask if I need changes policy. Require more quick action needed. There are no face towels...force to use large towels. Kitchen utility facilities are not used full...all collections are OP shops. Sofas are dirty, and 1950 model is uncomfortable. Bed pillows are 10 yrs old...feel rotten smells. The showers are dirty. 3 toilet rolls for 6 people for 3 days.
