Hanalei Gardens

Location perfect, large room with good kitchen

Wifi was intermittent at best and usually non-existent. The Manager/head receptionist was not friendly, everything was a chore, and not a smile, not even once. Adjacent to property was Hanalei Gardens, a park like environment supposedly for guests to use, every time I attempted to use this area I was asked to leave. Management and staff could only communicate in Thai, no one seemed to understand basic English.

There was no breakfast. Location was good though the hiring of a motorbike was pretty essential for me but not for the faint hearted

I was annoyed that I paid about 6700 Baht as a security deposit When I left I asked for my refund and at first it was denied I had paid anything then was told it was for "cleaning" Also while at the office across the road returning the bike my food and drink prepared for the trip disappeared and I checked the bin and it wasn't in there.

This is a gem!!! Far away from the craziness of fishermen village or Lamai. Very relaxing house. It is bigger than the pictures, what a nice surprise. The staff is very friendly and you can rent scooters directly there. Also you are 20s walk from the beach!!!

The wifi is terrible if you wish to work... The interior is very dark, so you feel like always wanting to have the lights on.

The hotel exceeded all expectations! The bungalow turned out to be larger than we expected. The location of the hotel is very good, it's quiet and beautiful. Also has its own clean beach. I really like this hotel!
