Holly Farm Cottage

Where it located, nice quiet area. Perfect garden for kids and dog to play in. Very clean and had everything we need. Love that it dog friendly and even had a water bowl ( we silly forget and only had a travel one) Kids made them self at home and didn’t want to leave. Love the little touch of games and book around the house.

Nothing it’s perfect for us

Full of character and decorated with love. The beds were very comfortable and many of our needs had been anticipated before we even recognised them ourselves! The location was very peaceful. Lots of places to visit in the area: we really enjoyed ‘Pleasurewood Hills’ and Lowestoft’s beaches.

The WiFi and mobile signal were poor. The outdoor shack needs some attention before it can really be enjoyed. Some of the facilities listed were either no longer available or contained within an area gated off and labelled as ‘private’ e.g no open fireplace, the bbq.

Great location, lovely place and great bedrooms and bathroom.

The peacefulness. Rural, but a shop within 15 mins walking. Pakefield Beach, and Lowestoft town are a gentle 15-minute drive away

Tight winding staircase leading up to two upper floors.

The cottage was in a very good location for dog walks and only a 12 min drive to shops and the beach.Our dogs were very at home there.

It’s a great sized house and spacious garden with gated front area. Plenty to do and see nearby. Comfortable well sized rooms and heaters in each room with their own temperature controls. Becky our host was very kind and helpful, eager to help and nothing was of trouble. Also quick to respond to messages.

The house is old and certainly quirky. The stairs are very very steep, you find yourself climbing with your hands on the last few as they twist up to the landing. The house is not suitable for children below the age of 7 or elderly in my opinion. We were away with our 17 month old and had to watch him like a hawk near the bedroom doors as some didn’t lock properly.

Clean, tidy. Comfortable beds. Bathroom was lovely and appreciated the little extras. Kitchen had everything you needed. My teens enjoyed the “old” games like pickup sticks. Cosy cottage. Lovely retreat. Note: Aldi only 5 mins drive which was useful

The outside “shed” was a little disappointing and not quite like the pictures. Not really useable but we were fine with inside for what we needed.

The cottage was cosy and the beds were comfy. 😊. Nice area and was lovely and quiet and peaceful.

The cutlery, some saucepans and the drainer wrre dirty. The hot water was too hot at times and could be dangerous for younger children. A small welcome pack would be a nice touch?

Beautiful cottage with a great kitchen, lovely garden and cosy sitting room. Perfect place for our young family to relax and play over the holidays.

Great value for money. Cute place. Good facilities

It was the right size for 3 friends, the kitchen may get cramped with more (as it was winter we couldn't spill into the garden).
