The Nest - St Ives

The location of the place was superb, being right on the centre to be able to access St Ives in the early hours of the morning and in the evening and to be in a place near to amenities and have our own space away from the crowds was so valuable. The bathroom was wonderfully furnished, the shower was amazing The living room space was lovely and to sit on the window seats and have a wonderful aesthetic view of St Ives Fore St was great Superbly clean upon arrival Wonderfully appointed kitchen, smartly laid out in the living space

The bathroom being on multiple levels and all slightly different heighten steps was problematic. Not a space/place for people on the tall side, the entrance area is a bit of a cramp, I’m 6ft 2 and I caught my head on the door frame to the bathroom multiple times navigating the small entrance way The bed in the bedroom felt on the small side, could do with a slightly bigger bed if possible but aware that if that was done, itd be difficult to get out of bed at the side These are all things around my/my partners heights and sizes as we are taller people being in a building that is old/potentially an old cottage in a former life.

Booking.com gave wrong code for box again, luckily the shop downstairs new the code

The location is great just a shame it's above a busy shop and directly across from the busiest bakery in St ives.

Very miss leading with the stone stairs on the advert which are no where near the flat. We thought that was the access to the flat. It is a shared entrance with the shop below and not an ideal place to stay with pets. Carpet stained at the top of the stairs and smelt like dog piss. Not very clean

The location was fantastic,loved that you could people watch from our couch. Loved that we could open a window in the living room.

No fault of the property but we are both quite tall and the lift felt very low. Also the footing in the loft felt a bit uneven.

Perfect located. Beautiful interior, superb bath- & living room.

Very quaint, one street back front main harbour. Lovely little bench seat window for views of the shps along this shopping street. Property was well equipped and lovely touch of fresh milk, tea and scones waiting upon our arrival.

Getting luggage to location with St Ives narrow roads and limited road system is far from easy. Not the hosts fault but would be a challenge for older travellers.as the car park is up/down very steep inclines. We luckily had taken a wheeled suitcase for ease.
