"Parfait pour un court séjour!"

8.0

"Great location with a beautiful view"

9.0

Fatima was very welcoming and very helpful. The view from the terrace on the top is beautiful. The location is oerfect, very central, right in the medina, with a lot of restaurants around.

"A great apartment in an excellent location."

9.0

The apartment was well located in the medina, not too far from the main tourist area. Lots of interesting restaurants on ly a few minutes walk away. The apartment itself was comfortable and well furnished. The roof terrace is a great asset and perfect for breakfast or an evening drink. I would recommend it and will certainly rebook, next time we are in town.

Quite a few steps if you are less than able, but easy for most visitors.

"A true medina diamond! 9"

10.0

I lived in Morocco for five years, and Tangier for two. I was back to visit friends and enjoy the wonderful city. When I saw Fatima's house available, I was immediately drawn to the beautiful terrace and views. I knew, that this house was a diamond, not only in style, but location. And I was not wrong. Fatima was a wonderful communicator, kind, helpful and sweet. She met me right where she said she would at the time we agreed. She introduced me to her beautiful home with all its amenities. The house is a typical medina house in location and in build, and travelers new to Tangier and Morocco should be very aware, that the house is located where local people live and work. Many reviews discuss the smells, and conditions of the medina, but what they fail to have perspective on, is that this is part of the medina experience. Yes, there is trash, cat waste, and construction going on that may cause dust in the house, but Fatima is not in control of this. If you are looking to stay in the medina, than you also are agreeing to share a space where Moroccans live, play, and work. The house is secure, safe, clean, and beautiful. And let me tell you about the terrace. This haven of beauty is completely worth the money and time spent at Fatima's house. She has a lovely garden with a mimosa tree growing at the top, to provide shade. The decorations and beautiful style make the stay even more beautiful. The stairs are the spine of the house, once again, a typical architectural design of a medina house. The house is split into smaller floors in between flights, with a bedroom and a bathroom on the same floor, a bedroom on a separate floor, and a kitchen at the top, just below the terrace. The location is EXCELLENT! Located just 2 minutes walking to the American steps / Gate, next to the American Legation, with at least 3-5 guards always on duty, 24 / 7.

I loved everything. Some tips for the house. 1. The refrigerator works too well :) I suggest keeping the dial just after zero, not all the way to 1 (it goes up to 5) as it gets super cold. 2. There is a broom down at the bottom floor, in the closet, with a dust pan. This can help keep the stairs and house tidy if you want. 3. Opening the windows to get a breeze is lovely. Nature's air con. I recommend opening the top terrace door, and windows in kitchen and bedroom for ultimate AC. 4. Moroccan taps are hot hot hot. Be careful with scalding water, as the tap only needs a little nudge to the right for hot water. 5. Go to the markets to get food and sustenance. It is affordable and soooo good. The bread makers just inside the market door are excellent! The veggie men up the street to Petite Socco have wonderful produce and prices. Thank you Fatima. Shukran bizeff
