Ibn Batouta House

Very traditional, a beautiful house right in the center with a sensational view from the roof terrace. The owner was always concerned about us and helped us with a lot of information. Would book here again at any time! greetings from Austria

Yassine, the host, went above and beyond to accommodate my brother and I over the end of Ramadan and into Eid. He was great. The house itself was charming, thin walls, space saving bathroom setups, steep stairs and all, but we really enjoyed our time there. The location was great; there's a corner store right nearby, a bread shop, an orange seller, a banana seller, and you're at a great point to either go into the medina or head into Tangier proper. There's a taxi stand not far from the place, but we never used it, just flagged cabs down in Grand Soco. I'd stay here again.

I think once it gets hot in Tangier, the outdoor toilet would be much less pleasant, but it never got above 70 while we were there.

An amazing location in the old town of Medina which is full of Moroccon culture. The house itself is enough for 4-5 people with amazing facilities nearby. There are a lot of food places just 2 minutes by walk from the house. The house was clean which comes with a big double bedroom, a big lounge and a great rooftop with a seaview. The host himself Yassene is a really friendly person as he helped me figure out the places to visit nearby the house. Kasbah Museum is the closest landmark less than 10 minutes by walk. There are many other attractions as well nearby the house. The closest beach is only 5 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes by walk and is open to public with nice sunset views. On my third day in Tangier the host himself took me to Achakkar beach on a private taxi and didn't let me pay for it. This was a very kind gesture from him and I cannot thank him enough. We visited Cape Spartel, Achakkar beach and Hercules Caves on my third day. An amazing amazing experience in Tangier. Will definetly come back again. Thank you Yassene :)
