Hop, Skip and Jump to the Lake - Te Anau House

Set back from the road, this property is quiet and peaceful. We were woken by birdsong each morning. The cottage is well set up with a good sized fridge, washing machine and outside washing line. The sofa is very comfy!

The house is a little run down looking from the outside which is a shame because the inside is lovely. The initial appearance is a bit off putting.

Great Communication with Bach Care, Small comfy warm Bach, walk to the lake, fireplace, easy kitchen, warm and inviting, top location. Super soft beds. If you need extra fire wood, simply grab it from the little shed, everything was supplied and thought about.

Very nicely furnished cottage with fireplace terrace grill kitchen and two bedrooms. There was also a separate entrance with a round place around the tree like in the English castle. The owner left a lot of details about restaurants and how to use everything.

A lot of sandflies that can bring lots of issues. But nobody warned of them) we thought they are not dangerous but later on we got bitten and this was annoying. Could be good to know this before arrival.

The location was perfect and the house was lovely.

The property was not very clean, we felt like we had to wash kitchen items before we used them and it generally just felt quite grubby.
