We stayed here for a week and had a truly lovely experience. The cottage was cosy, peaceful and exactly what we needed. We specifically chose this place because we wanted time in nature, away from constant noise and distractions, and even the limited phone signal became part of the experience of slowing down and switching off. For us, this trip was also very personal as we visited family in Wales and saw Sofia’s father again after 4 years, so having our own quiet place to return to each day made a huge difference. It gave us the perfect balance between family time and rest. The surroundings are beautiful, ideal for walking, running and simply enjoying nature. We appreciated the privacy and the feeling of really being able to recharge. Thank you for your hospitality. We would absolutely recommend Bwthyn Bach to anyone looking for peace, simplicity and a genuine escape from busy everyday life. Bart & Sofia 10/10 ⭐

The property was clean and convenient for us with family living just up the road. The parking Space is tight but we fit our Citroen c3 aircross no problem. You have to reverse in from the road heol horb otherwise you’re not getting in it. The property had all the facilities needed and we had a baby with us.

Nice house

Parking the car was a nightmare. There is a small square area surrounded by 3 walls and the opposite house had put up low posts. The phone signal was poor. Internet was fine. No soap or washing up liquid.

The setting is beautiful, quiet with lovely walks on the doorstep. Wrexham's City is only a short drive or an added 20 minute drive is the Roman city of Chester. It's a great base to explore North Wales. The cottage itself is cosy, clean, with comfy beds and a lovely deep bath with shower. There are beautiful views from the bedroom windows of the rolling hills with the accompaning sound of birdsong. The mobile signal in and around the cottage is very limited if non existent, but this is compensated by the cottage's extremely fast WiFi. There is private parking for one small car, I fitted mine in the space easily and my granddaughter visited and parked just up the lane easily without obstructing anything or anyone.

This is petty, we had a little fight over the one wine glass, but using a tumbler did save me needing to get up as often to top up.

"In general, it was a good 2-nights stay with quiet nights in the countryside."

Nice little cottage complete with all amenities, located in a countryside.

Limited parking space and too far from public road to get for taxi.
