Such a beautiful location, very peaceful and quiet. Clean house with all facilities, swimming pool and wood burning stove if you would like to make a fire :) Also possibility of a late checkout for the extra few pounds if they have availability.

The Stable is in a wonderful location with great views all around. John is a lovely guy and you must read his stories in the information pack. The swimming pool is a great attraction as is sitting on the decking in such a peaceful location. We booked two nights but stayed for three and hopefully may return in the future. It is well situated for visiting lots of places,Ellesmere is a small local town with a large lake for walks or eating in the restaurant, Chirk Castle is good for a visit. It is down a country lane so check out where you are going before leaving home as the sat nav does not take you directly to the house.

"Amazing Relaxing Weekend - We will definitely be back."

What an absolute little gem ! The location and the grounds are amazing. If you are looking for a nice relaxing break then this is the place. Surrounded by rolling countryside when all you can hear are the birds and the sheep. The use of the outdoor pool was a bonus and John the Host was very friendly and accommodating. There is a couple of lovely pubs within a ten minute drive. The Cross Foxes and The Boat Inn we had lovely meals at both of them. We had an amazing chilled weekend and we will definitely be back.

Felt welcomed straight away and great host, cottage lovely and cosy , lovely swimming pool and bbq, great scenery and very good location.

Beautiful location, John was a wonderful host. The swimming pool was welcome on such a hot weekend and we enjoyed meeting Maud the cat

The mattress could probably do with an update but everything else was great
