La Caletta-Praiano

Magnificent villa. There is absolutely everything for life, very comfortable beds, excellent views from the terrace and rooms. Very cozy! Special thanks to Alessandra and Felicia, they were always in touch and ready to help with any question! We liked it very much, hope to come here again!

Praiano is a lovely, quiet area and the location in the town was close to the bus stop and restaurant. Alessandra and Felicia were friendly and responsive to any questions that were asked. The view of the ocean from the balcony is spectacular. The washing machine was a welcome inclusion in the property

The bathrooms are a bit old and a fan in one of the bathrooms doesn’t work - it was therefore difficult for towels to dry. The mattress on one of the beds was also a bit saggy and probably needs to be replaced.

Beautiful and authentic Italian property! View is as stunning as the photos and a good distance to restaurants, supermarkets & marina!

The location and views are worth it.

We did not have wifi for the last day and a half. considering how we were all teleworking this cause a horrible discomfort for the day and unable to get any work or attend meetings. They were unable to resolve the problem and had told us to just go to the nearest restaurant for their wifi

It was our first time visiting the Amalfi coast. We really enjoyed Priano. Staying there is a more local experience away from the crowds of Amalfi and Positano. The apartment is very comfortable and the view is absolutely breathtaking! The location in town is very convenient (considering you are on the Amalfi coast). It is close to the supermarket, the bus stop and the Path of Gods hiking trail and if you are a good walker, within walking distance from the beach (a good number of stairs which is typical for the area) and several restaurants. Both the owner and the manager responded promptly to all our questions. We arrived very late at night due to a flight delay and Patrizia came to the house to meet us so no issues with the late check in. Overall, very happy with our stay and hope to come back!

Fantastic view, huge terrace, freedom of space. Well equipped kitchen and house in general. decor with a character. peace in a charming location away from the bustle yet manageable distance to shops, restaurants and beach, close by hiking trails. great for families and people who want to peacefully relax close to nature. we liked Praiano in general as a quieter and perhaps more authentic place than the neighboring more famous towns. We had a great time in this beautiful place.

Internet didn’t work well - we were informed about a problem with the main network and availability of the backup network was appreciated but it only worked in specific parts of the house and it was sometimes hard to connect. Parking is for an extra charge which we realized is normal all around Amalfi Coast, but it’d be good to mention it in the listing for the first timers. The garage and actually any road accessible by car is a bit of a walk - which again is normal in most places here - so get ready to carry the luggage (ideally don’t bring too much if possible) or to pay extra for the service. I’m not complaining as it’s the nature of the place built on a cliff with narrow streets and steps. I would however perhaps recommend offering complimentary luggage service at this price point and nature of the location. Maybe it’s not standard but it’d elevate the experience.

Clean, great views, comfy beds

A little bit complicated to check in but all worked out in the end

Peaceful, the view was spectacular, giant terrace, plenty of space inside and lovely comfy beds. Typical Italian house, which was just what we wanted. Our host, Alessandra was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to assist us. No request was too difficult for her. I would recommend organising a porter for your luggage, both ways. They are quick, inexpensive and make arriving/departing much easier. Again. Alessandra helped us with that and also with our taxi to Salerno. Our taxi driver from Sorrento dropped us at the wrong place but we were picked up after a phone call. There are bus stops close by, 2 supermarkets and a great little bar, as well as an excellent restaurant. An excellent 6 day stay to finish off our 6 weeks in Italy.

It isn't easy to get to, a long walkway with stairs and slopes. My sister had a huge suitcase which was not useful. However, we had help with the suitcases. If you are old or have mobility issues, like most of the Amalfi, it is not for you. Lots of steps for the average non Amalfi resident but we didn't really mind as we ate a lot and they kept us fit. Pack lightly for a trip to the Amalfi coast.

Apart from the steps to get to the accommodation everything else was great

Our hosts were very kind and proud of their property. Five of us slept comfortably is this amazing property in Prairano. The huge patio overlooking the sea was divine. From the front bedroom you could open the shutters and wake to see the sunrise. Enjoyed every moment of our stay. The hosts provided the most delicous coffee! If you need a place to relax, restore, and take in all the coast has to offer, La Caletta is the perfect spot. We are greatful for out hosts and our stay!

Everything was perfect. My entire family rated it as one of the top experiences we enjoyed on our two week stay in Italy!
