Everything! The gardens were beautiful and the views were amazing. The artwork and artefacts were exceptional. We particularly loved the collection of shells. We had some lovely meals sat at the big round table. The shower was fabulous and the house was warm, the beds were super comfortable. The location was brilliant - a few minutes walk down into town and a 10 minute drive to Knoll beach. Absolutely perfect for a family holiday with 4 kids and a dog!

"Clarence Cottage"

What an amazing place, six of us & a dog, booked this to celebrate a family members 85th birthday & we had a really great time, so many objects to admire & discuss. Still spotting new stuff on our day of departure. If you're after something a bit different but with a touch of class then this is it !

It's a little bit pricey, but maybe it needs to be ?

The property was situated close to the town & train station a superb location overlooking Swanage Bay. It is very comfortable & has an electric mix of decor which we loved.

Sadly the oven wasn’t working so we were unable to cook our breakfast or the evening meal we had pre-prepared for Mothering Sunday. The host kindly offered another property to use their oven but it was during the afternoon which didn’t help our Mothers Day evening meal sadly.

We absolutely loved the cottage. The downstairs is bonkers and eclectic. Loved the original WC! The upstairs is calm and beautifully decorated. The garden is beautifully kept with fabulous views over the bay and fairy lights in the evening which makes it look magical. The location is spot on.

Niggles really because we loved it so much. Not enough hot water for 7 people so we had to keep using the booster button and orchestrate showers. The Aga was off and the electric oven burned stuff. The log burner in the kitchen didn't work which meant we had to keep the heating going as it was a v cold weekend.
