Walnut Block Cottages

My husband and I loved everything about Walnut Block Cottage 1. The location is perfect both in terms of its close proximity to Blenheim CBD, the vineyards and only 30 minutes to the seaside village of Picton, as well as the properties own outlook on its vineyard and the walnut tree from which it gets its name. The cottage itself has everything you need, is roomy and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well fitted out and we were very appreciative of the breakfast items left for us to enjoy. The deck has a table and chairs, where we enjoyed sharing a bottle of Walnut Cottage Sauvignon Blanc as we ate dinner ( it was so lovely out there, that we cancelled our dinner booking and opted for a take away from the same place, so we could enjoy the view and watch the sunset). We were also very appreciative of how accomodating Helen was in letting us drop our bags off early. Our only regret was that we didn't book a longer stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Walnut Block Cottage. Host Helen was awesome and very accommodating. The room was just gorgeous and had everything we needed. The view through the vineyard from our room was spectacular. Breakfast supplies were fabulous and the fresh strawberry's amazing. Walnut Block wines are awesome and we will be ordering some to share with our friends in Australia. Thankyou for having us Helen...we will be back.

Helen provided an excellent continental breakfast more than enough to satisfy. Very peaceful location. Handy to many wineries and restaurants. We just loved the cottages, waking up to grapevines and mountains in the distance was heaven.

Both the cottage and the views were amazing. The breakfast supplies provided in the cottage were really good - especially the sourdough bread! The host was helpful telling us useful information on the surroundings.

Lovely setting, great accommodation

여행할 때, 비도 오고 전반적으로 쌀쌀한 날씨였지만 숙소에 들어올 때마다 늘 따뜻해서 좋았어요. (특히 화장실) 모든 부분이 청결하고 깔끔하게 잘 정리되어 있어요. 주방에 식기류 포함해서 다양한 기구들이 있어서 다양한 요리를 할 수 있었습니다. 아침 식사도 만족스러웠어요. 와인은 말할 것도 없이 맛있었습니다!! 물론 풍경도 예쁩니다 😀

기차역에서 거리가 조금 애매해서 택시를 타야하는데, 렌트카가 있다면 상관없을 거에요.
