Great location for Newquay town and its surrounding beaches.

Great location and facilities, scones on arrival were an added bonus. Parking for a small car (tight location) was handy. Great communication from owners.

Amazing welcome with homemade scones, jam and cream. Very well catered kitchen with lovely Cornish tea bags!

Mattress’ were very soft and we all prefer firm ones - but that all down to individual tastes I suppose

The bed was so comfortable and bedrooms were great. I really loved how there was everything you needed to hand..tea coffee biscuits. There were even freshly baked scones waiting for me

Cost. £100 per night between 2 people is good. Early check in was granted which we were grateful of.

Firstly I really hate to leave negative reviews, but in this instance I feel I have to, off top of my head we have the following: Why were no fans supplied for bedrooms, essential in 32 degree heat. No wardrobes in either bedroom, found this odd, my clothes had to be stacked on the floor. Not good! Cutlery, mismatched utensils, tiny spatula, no steak knife, cork screw, pizza cutter etc, all cheap to provide. Rickety chairs very loose and need repair. Living area tv signal breaking up all time needs sorting. Non-stick pans need supplying. Complimentary tea and coffee for when you arrive after a long drive would be nice so you don't have to go straight out. Main Bedroom 1 - Bed slats are banana'd and fell through the bed twice! Took ages to put back, need replacing. Access for parking way too tight even for a small car which resulted in damage to my Astra (see photo) Bedroom 1 tv doesn't work as the plug doesn't even reach the socket so no TV. Bedroom 2 tv is about 12" long and is useless, you'd need a telescope to see it. They don't even sell them this small anymore. Toilet seat had faeces at the front which I had to clean before use - gross. Bedside table lamp was broke, coffee mug stains on tables in both bedrooms, I mean, just buy a coaster they cost pennies. Place smelled of dog and on it went. So our stay was... Difficult. And the impression we got was that the owners don't care too much. It's a real shame because for little money on putting these things right it could be amazing. Any money I saved staying here I've got to triple now to take my car to a bodyshop. They shouldn't advertise it as a car space, look what it's done to my car. It's far too tight and an astra is a small car.

Nothing at all, this was just what we needed.

Near the beach and town so had lovely surroundings, good use of space and big bathroom

No storage space, quite a lot of dust around the place and stained sheets and towels, nowhere to dry clothes
