Loved the location, away from the hustle of the town with animals roaming ect.

The fireplace extractor fan worked, but the smoke still got into the house.

Due to a double booking we have been upgrade to the main house, instead of the cottage, so we got more than what we paid for. The place is very nice, clean and quiet. We had also the internet which is (apparently) not available on the cottage site.

Karen was just awesome, with charm and a radiant personality and a sense of humour to compliment it. The double roomed unit, each with a spacious en suite was spotless. Beds were super comfy as well as great pillows. It had all the equipment you needed , to braai or to cook stove top meals . It was superb accommodation we would have loved to spend more time there. It was so peaceful away from the centre of a great little town, Calvinia

There was nothing not to like!
