GBGBVery well presented and set in an idealic location. Very quiet and peaceful, but only a 20 minute drive from the city of Carlisle. An ideal base if your planning on exploring the lake district.
GBHad an absolutely wonderful stay for a friends birthday. The cottage was spacious and lovely, with all the needed amenities. Milk, orange juice, sugar and even some breakfast items were provided which is a great touch. Hosts were fantastic and incredibly helpful, we needed a kitchen appliance and this was provided within minutes - Communication was great! The home itself was incredible, with a beautiful surrounding area next to some horses. We thoroughly enjoyed our BBQ too in the spacious outdoors, anything you could want was there and we even opted to stay in instead of exploring in the evening. Would 110% recommend and cannot wait to be back

GBGBWe like the style of the place and location of the property is great, close to get to town but rural.
We have stayed before and didn’t feel it was as clean as previously and some small maintenance jobs needed to be done.
GBThe cottage itself is lovely. Very quaint and has pretty much all you need for a lovely stay. There were some nice touches with bread, milk, waffles, tea, coffee etc being there for you. It had good wi fi etc. Lovely outside seating area.
Unfortunately there were some minor repairs needed. Missing/broken bulbs. Doors scraping on floors when being opened/closed. Loose catches. The shelf in the kitchen which had the glasses on etc was filthy! No freezer. It is a lovely place bur some minor repairs would make it even better
GBThe Nook cottage was very well equipped ie milk & orange juice in fridge for our arrival. Quiet peaceful & relaxing in the garden is a must.
