Beautiful location, right on the waterside, geese flying overhead every night. Nathalie (owner) explained how to work everything in the lodge. Great sized rooms and well equipped kitchen

Spa was closed on site but this is no reflection on the lodge at all

"Betty the Van"

This was a very last minute booking as the accomodation I had booked was unsuitable. Faced with losing my money and heading home I went on to site and Betty the Van was available. Natalie (owner) was extremely helpful and friendly. Myself and Tam had a lovely week in gorgeous surroundings... Lola the lodge now on the wish list. Thank you Natalie

The lodge was lovely,I could live in it! Nathalie was so helpful before we arrived, it made it a breeze to get to the van and settle in., the van had everything we needed and the view is amazing from the decking. Although we didn't use the site facilities, it is in a great location to see Bamburgh, Alnwick and Berwick. There is also wifi and a TV that you can access your Netflix and Amazon prime TV.

A good location, and very well equipped

It was on the track with the horses walking past and they go by quite often. This would not normally bother me it’s just the dog barked at the horses and the horses got scared by the dog.

Great communication, the site was lovely and the van was very clean and tidy. We enjoyed a lovely stay.

Nothing, we didn't use the haven facilities as we were so busy out and about but it was always pleasantly busy rather than manic. Staff seemed lovely and helpful.

The location of the lodge was fantastic. It was spacious with excellent facilities. The decking and views of the lake were lovely and you couldn’t help but relax with the view.
