The Barn at Pink Cottage

Convenient, peaceful, friendly owner, provided all the basics for our stay.

Nothing really.

Everything! From the moment that we made our reservation to the moment we left, the level of communication was first class without ever being intrusive. I hadn't noticed the check-in time, which resulted in us arriving far too early. Our host, Nicola, was still cleaning as the previous guests had just checked out. She made some recommendations on where we could go to have a coffee or "get a feed." We went to AJ's and opted for the mini breakfast, which was fresh, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Nicola then messaged to say that we could check-in early. On our arrival, she had left tea, coffee, milk and treats. There was also an ample supply of kindling, fire lighters, and logs for the wood burner, which we really enjoyed. The barn is such a quaint and peaceful location. Well furnished, well heated with central heating at the flick of a switch and the lovely loft bedroom. It really delivers in every area. We cooked dinner and breakfast as all facilities are provided. We will definitely be back.

Kitchen area not really for much cooking as very compact and bed a bit challenging to get in and out of but overall very cosy

Sorry for delay with review 😢, new phone, retro owner ha ha!! The Barn at Pink Cottage 10/10 !!! (Dont listen to me, do not recommend, really bad. Only book if you want a quiet retreat for couples 🤣🤣, ) We still call it "Our Barn", ha ha!!. Third time lucky, we actually got a cancellation for 3 nights July. Absolutely wonderful, couple looking peace and quiet, look no further. We brought our basic BBQ which added to our experience as everything available in kitchenette. We made the most of our private garden area / sun trap 🤗 The only visitors were the neighbouring pheasants ha ha! Thanks again Nicola and Chris 🥰 . You know we will be back, bookings available ha ha!! 🥰 xx
