Ataahua Homestay

Had a 1 night stay at Ataahua Home Stay with a group get-together before the show. When arriving later than expected Julie was very helpful with everything. The house is lovely with big deck, fireplace and heat pump which kept us lovely and warm. The beds were super comfortable. Will be back next year!

The house was exactly like the photos in the posting. Also arriving to a warm house with the fire going was a bonus!

A note was left for the host with these issues: 1. The location was advertised as a peaceful rural setting...there was traffic noise all hours of day and night = NOT peaceful. With a lack of sleep we left a day earlier. 2. There was a crack in a window the hosts were aware of; 3. There was a broken shelf in the fridge the hosts were aware of; should have been replaced before us guests used fridge. 4. Four light bulbs were not working - bedroom bedside; bedroom overhead; lounge 2x overhead lights; 5. Spiderwebs on kitchen light fittings; 6. Ceiling in kitchen was starting to flake/peel; 7. Food from previous guests was left in the freezer; 8. No instruction book such as where spare bedding was available. 9. Guests had to get TV working and found Wifi was not working so waited for hosts to fix.
