Set in a beautiful location and very private. The area is relaxing and the cottage is so spacious, the photos don’t do it justice.

Unfortunately the home wasn’t as clean as expected. Spiders and cobwebs in most rooms and dishes were dirty. It could also be useful for guests to have a small amount of laundry powder so they can use the washing machine provided.

"Stunning rural setting, amazing hosts"

The house is gorgeous & in a beautiful location, spacious bedrooms & living. All kitchen utensils you could think of were there. Bill came to check that we were settled & we learned he too rides a motorbike. He guided us on a stunning scenic ride to Taihape. We would never have ridden that way if he hadn't shown us. Very grateful.

The sign for the house couldn't be seen from the direction we came from. Luckily, I recognized the house itself, and we turned around in the next driveway
