"Good budget stay"

Good for the price, but why not increase mod-cons and charge a little more? Location wonderful Horses just outside the door Very clean Warm Bathroom toiletries supplied (shower gel and moisturizer) Washing up liquid supplied Good range of furniture Kitchen equipment good Outdoor area for socialising/playing

At 6.30am I was woken up by a sound like a washing machine on spin until 8am. The stables next door had machines against the wall of the bedroom, which were on? Shower, if turned on hot, a very loud noise happened? Had to start on cold and then turn to hot. But I'm the meantime, it woke anyone who was sleeping. Lounge TV had no smart apps but the bedroom TV did. Lounge TV needs updating and remote filthy. Towels need updating as not soft. Or don't supply? No coffee machine (cafetiere supplied but no coffee?) Milk UHT

Beautiful setting and excellent location. Enjoyed sitting in the garden and watching the horses! Plenty of walks from the cottage and a great location to explore venues by car. Kate was a lovely host, we hope to return one day.

Lovely modern quiet place in nice countryside. All facilities worked perfectly, well stocked kitchen and enclosed garden for dog. Perfect!

The location was fantastic. Beautiful scenery and walks on the doorstep, only 10mins drive to Bakewell too. The Lodge itself was bigger than expected and facilities were great for a long stay - plus dog friendly! Host was lovely too.

The location was perfect for a short break in the Peak District. 10 minute walk from a beautiful pub which served amazing pub food. The property was spotless and very warm due to underfloor heating. It had windows all around to see the amazing views of Froggatt's edge and the surrounding fields. Also, situated in a farm so it was lovely to see the chickens and horses. Highly recommend and will definitely book here again. The host was also lovely and very informative. The property had everything you could have needed for a short stay. Bed is also very comfy and there is a TV in the bedroom as well as the living area which I thought was a nice touch. Tea, coffee and milk was provided.

Wish the stay was longer!

Everything the place was very clean, people friendly the views out the windows was stunning, and the walks was wonderful, would definitely go back 😀

It was all perfect their was nothing we didn't like
