Kingfisher Lodge

Fantastic, peaceful location. Kitchen very well equipped - had everything we needed and more. Clean property and bedding. Helpful and friendly hosts. Peaceful neighbours (the horses). Large, welcoming space. Very comfortable bed. Temperature couldn't be cooled but was fine for us. Would have happily stayed for longer!

Ironing board - a wonky leg means it collapses with any pressure. It took a loooong time to iron even a t-shirt. The small table-top design didn't help. It's the only thing that prevented a perfect 10/10 score! Please consider a free-standing ironing board :-)

Perfect. Property and location are excellent. Katie was a wonderful host and the cottage was amazing.

Our second visit to the lovely Kingfisher Lodge and looking forward to next time. Ideal for us and our dog. Great nearby walks and some stunning scenery.

Perfectly quaint and in an amazing location for multiple walks right from the property. The property had everything you needed for a stay and beautiful smelling toiletries on hand in the bathroom! The host was lovely and very helpful with sorting the heating out for me and accommodating my car whilst I went for a walk the next day. Would definitely recommend for a solo adventure or a couples night away

Whilst the property was mainly cleaned to a high standard I did notice a few established cobwebs in the corner of the bedroom which for someone with a big fear of spiders did worry me a little. Not enough to stop me from having a great nights sleep though and wouldn’t put me off coming back for another visit as I appreciate cobwebs happen in these types of environments!

Extremely clean Lovely property in good location

This is a self catering property and would have found better equipped kitchen utensils really helpful. For example a roasting dish and frying pan for our cooked breakfast
