Location, comfort kitchen facilities and Evelyn the host was very thoughtful.

The location was ideal for us to explore Orkney by bicycle. The house was in a nice quiet street only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Kirkwall and very convenient for the terminal for ferries to the northern islands. The house was spacious, comfortable, very clean and well maintained. The owner very kindly supplied us with some local produce which got our stay off to a great start. There was a large rear garden with a shed which we were able to store our bicycles in. Good communications from the owner about how to access the house and where we could store our bikes.

Really good location, very easy walk to everything in Kirkwall. Excellent communication throughout the stay. Lovely little house, perfect for our stay.

We stayed for a week to explore archeological sites on Mainland and Rousay. The home was perfectly situated and very comfortable. Our host thought of everything to make our stay exceptional.

I cannot think of anything to suggest.

Brilliant property with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs. The property was very clean and kitchen well equipped. The location was perfect for the purpose of my stay and I would definitely return. The host is very friendly.

Maybe an airer for a longer stay in the winter might be handy.
