"Beautiful place for a relaxing time away."

We had a fantastic weekend at the Old Cow Byre. Everything was lovely and clean and the owners had thought of everything. We had a lovely relaxing weekend in the lovely North Yorkshire countryside and would definitely return and recommend.

"Quiet and relaxing location with poor internet but could be a blessing for some !"

Quietness at the location. The layout of the barn. The views. Relaxing break.

The shower was too small couldn’t move around. Terrible internet connection (understandable in that location) but the internet kept dropping, simply watching TV was a struggle.

"Your best break away from the city life"

Amazing property with lovely hosts. The house was very neat & clean with wine, flowers and fruits. Almost has all the basic appliances and utilities present as a home.

"Perfect escape in North Yorkshire."

The cottage is lovely, comfortable, its well appointed, plenty of space, parking for 2 cars.location is excellent, walking from your doorstep, a short trip, to Whitby, Sandsend, Hutton Le Hole, Staithes, Saltburn. Its our 2nd trip here since we first visited last year.

The WiFi is a little temperamental, but to be expected due to the location, no mobile signal either which is good and bad

The accommodation was beautiful , clean and had everything you needed for a great family holiday. The location was idyllic being surrounded by fields, sheep and rabbits. The views from every window were delightful and calming. Communication with the owners was excellent and straightforward.We were late arriving due to a family issue but nothing was too much trouble and they’d left the keys for us to find. They arrived initially to make sure all was okay and returned at the end of the holiday to take the keys and wish us well.
