The owner was adorable, we stayed one night during the cyclone warning and she made sure we were safe and informed. The place is cosy, close to a road but not a lot of cars. The inside is well thought out and practical. Fruit from the owner’s garden was delicious.

Nice location and welcoming host.

The wooden bed frame creaked & moved every time my partner moved. The noise from the fridge was continuous and loud. Unfortunately didn’t get a good nights rest. No white linen and grey towels.

Fantastic location in the adorable countryside. Very close to Hobbiton. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. They chatted with us about fishing, hunting, and other aspects of New Zealand culture. Very clean, charming unit.

Fantastic place to stay. Linda and Steve were lovely hosts and recommended places to visit we didn’t know about Great location for Hobbiton. Would definitely go back

Proximity to Hobbiton.

Close proximity to main road. Passing trucks shook the unit. Crumbs on sheets. Breakfast was lacking, not really continental as promised on website. Host made us feel unwelcome.

Staff were super friendly and helpful, the cabin had everything we needed, the continental breakfast was great and the location was superb.

The bed was a little hard and the boiler (we think?) makes quite a bit of noise throughout the night.
