The Old Sweet Shop

We were blown away when we entered this beautiful cottage. Every detail has been taken care of and it feels very homely. My two daughters loved being here to celebrate their 30th birthday and my granddaughter Ruby was excited to see her pretty bedroom and to go in a hot tub for the first time. I appreciated the refillable eco toiletries and scourers. We enjoyed looking for fossils, collecting sea glass and doing a little litter pick at the same time at Watchet where we recommend Chives Café. Thank you Lucy and team.”

The location had a village feel within walking distance of Minehead town centre.

Every possible attention to detail was made. The communication before, and during our stay was exceptional. The cottage was stunning and everything we needed was there. Perfect for a group of friends with a 1 year old and a dog too. The dog was also considered as a person and there were treats and amenities available for her too. Easy walking distance to town, and the coastal path.

We loved everything about the property, the fact it was exactly an eight minute walk ( literally) into minehead town on a bit of a hill, and it was such a peaceful experience and very well located to access many places of interest 😊😍
