SUN SET HOUSE

This property is absolutely unique in every way. We loved our experience in Monsanto. We felt like our hosts truly cared that we had an incredible time in this accommodation. They made it feel like home. We were picked up at the parking with their electric car and we had wonderful breakfasts each morning. We would recommend this place whole heartedly. Everything about it was enchanting.

Eloise was fantastic. Picked us up from the parking in her little electric car. Perfect for the Monsanto “streets”. Left home made soup for us one day. Nothing too much trouble.

Eloize was an amazing host. Place was adorable, clean and comfortable. She went out of her way to look after us. Would highly recommend.

I'm going to try and make this review as short as possible because there are so many great things to say. Our stay started with a renarl car trip from Porto. When we were outside Monsanto, our rental car got a flat tire. Hosts Eliza and Fernando had just approved an early arrival. We contacted them to let them know about the flat tire and not sure when we would get in. They immediately called us and insisted they come to where we were broke down. They then piled our luggage in their car and took my wife to lunch and back to the house while I waited for the tow truck and taxi. They told me to call if I needed anything while I waited. OK. So the house... unbelievably perfect. Beatiful place that is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Couldn't have been a better place. Now, back to the hosts. They were extremely attentive to everything we needed. I will not go into detail on how they made our stay very comfortable knowing we didn't have a car. They went above and beyond! If Booking.com has a host of the year, they need to be in contention and then win. Booking.com.com, please contact me for more information. Thank you VERY much for everything. Monsanto è un paese dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato. Abbiamo deciso di visitarlo e soggiornarci per poter vivere l'esperienza di alloggiare in una casa incastonata nella roccia. E non siamo rimasti delusi: Eloisa e Fernando sono due persone squisite che hanno reso la nostra brevissima visita un ricordo unico. Abbiamo comunicato con loro tramite Whatsapp, ci hanno accolto e aiutato a trovare un buon ristorante dove cenare. La camera era bellissima, pulita e preservata con cura senza alterare lo spirito del paese. Al mattino Eloisa ci ha portato la colazione in balcone, è stato bellissimo. In più, dal momento che avevamo bagagli pesanti, si è offerta di portarceli fino al parcheggio fuori dal paese con la sua minicar elettrica. Consiglio fortemente questo paese e questo alloggio!
