Amazing location to stay! Our host took very good care of us, bringing us amazing breakfast and produce from her garden. Everything worked well, and it was such a great spot to hole up in for a couple of days. We went hiking and exploring both Monsanto and neighboring villages. We ate at the same restaurant 3 times due to lack of options, but it was fine. You can't park by the room, so you need to organize with the host when you arrive and she came with her tiny car to carry your bags and show you the way. It worked fine!

The location was spectacular, as were the hosts. after a very late arrival they assisted Us in finding their location by walking to where we were and guiding us. Monsanto after dark is a difficult place to navigate. the hosts were also spectacular; having met us and guiding us they provided improvisational meal; due to our late arrival restaurants were mostly closed and significant walking distance away.

The accommodation is absolutely gorgeous. So characterful and homely whilst being very comfortable. Good breakfast and warm hospitality. Wonderful location in the middle of delightful Monsanto.

A casa está muito bem decorada com pormenores interessantes. A D. Eloísa é extremamente simpática e prestável. Sempre disponível, atenciosa e com conselhos e dicas para tornar a nossa experiência o mais agradável possível. O seu carrinho elétrico é essencial para ajudar com as malas ( excelente ideia). O pequeno almoço foi maravilhoso, super completo.
