Old Vicarage Mortehoe Near Woolacombe 2 x sleeps 4 and 1 x sleeps 10 cottages

We love our getaway trip to Mortehoe especially The Old Vicarage. We have been several times now and will continue to do so. Its a real home from home and because its dog friendly we love it! Our favourite is Mailscot as the views of the garden are stunning.

Cottage very clean and comfortable with everything we wanted. The owner was really helpful and the dogs appreciated the large garden. Location really great, just 3 minute walk from village with great chippy, teashop and good pubs.

Nothing really. Perhaps hooks for coats behind front door but not really important.

The whole atmosphere of the place was old fashioned comfort - perfect for a family get together. I liked the piano but it would have been nice to know it was there in advance. The kitchen was very well equipped - we'd brought our own stuff but didn't need it. The garden was lovely and the weather was kind so we had a BBQ.

There were no tea towels - but I had my own. The overflow from one of the toilets kept leaking. We were able to fix it but it kept happening. Rockham Beach was closed off for safety reasons.

Great location, very quite, beautiful area, good parking. Cottage was clean, comfortable had everything you needed.

We felt it needed another chair in the lounge as settee was cosy for 3 medium size adults.

Lots of space for us all. Fire in living room is lovely. Lovely big garden. Location is great!

Hot water was a little temperamental but as soon as we figured it out was lovely and hot!

Clean, quiet and the log fire was really nice
