Old Vicarage Mortehoe Near Woolacombe 2 x sleeps 4 and 1 x sleeps 10 cottages

We didnt like how dirty the house was it was full of dust and cobwebs, which then made 3 of my kids very poorly and myself very poorly We was booked in to stay till Friday but we left on Tuesday I think you need to get new cleaners and have a big sort out tho the house as it is very cluttered and not organised properly as this holiday cost me and my husband a lot of money witch we will not get back the house also has a lot of mould around its also got ivy growing tho the livingroom wall and with all the old paintings as well it just make the house feel strange as well I think if you was to change a bit the house would be beautiful again just such a shame we had a really bad time there

Owners decorated the house in a way that made us smile. It might not be everyone’s cup on tea (for instance, old furniture full of character that was nearly falling apart and a stuffed mallard in the kitchen), but we liked the quirkiness.

The soft furnishing (sofas, rugs) were not deep cleaned. Moreover, there were layers of dust on the piano and wooden window shutters. We didn’t know until we visited this house, but our 7 year old has a massive dust mite allergy and had trouble breathing in the cottage. During our stay one of the bathrooms started leaking. There were puddles on the floor. Both upstairs bathrooms need some serious updating.

It Was exactly what we wanted, warm comfortable all the facilities were excellent as advertised

Just a small thing but there could do with some coat hooks to hang coats on when you get back in the house.

Great location. Lovely quiet cottage with everything you need for a short break away. A real home from home and our dogs love it too.

It was lovely, quiet and spacious with a huge garden. Lovely bedrooms and close to all amenities

Dining room a bit dark, only 1 tv and quite small

A little dated but signs of room by room improvement by the owners

Super location with easy access to coastal path and local beaches. Cottage had a homely feel to it with plenty of space for everyone including the dog. Outdoor area was lovely.

The cottage is in need of general maintenance and decoration. Reported repair jobs in the hope they would be seen to before the next holiday makers arrived.

The cottage was in a great location. Lovely and clean with all the facilities we needed. Would definitely recommend

lovely location and almost everything we needed for a great weekend. The milk and biscuits were a nice touch

sadly empty box of fire lighters and empty box of matches! too late to do anything about it when we realised!
