Lofoten panoramic luxury home with sauna

Views are awesome, house is comfortable and as pictured. We made use of the sauna and the washer/dryer. Beds were comfortable. It would be my preference to not have to put linens on the beds including duvet covers, and we did not have enough pillow cases. Other than that everything was perfect.

The property has absolutely stunning views. It's very well equipped and the quality of the materials used on the property are top notch. Beds were comfortable, plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen, living and dining all overlook a cluster of fjords and majestic mountains iconic to Lofoten. We had a full size washer and dryer to use and the sauna was delightful. The property is located near highly rated restaurants and a grocery store. Very comfortable stay with our family and the host was very responsive.

There really isn't much to complain about with this property. It is so lovely and we had a wonderful time. Only a few suggestions for the owner and the host. It would be really hospitable to provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash as that is pretty customary with short term rentals as well as making the beds versus leaving the sheets on the bed for the guest to make their own bed before retiring. We were so tired and were a bit put off when we had to make our own beds before getting into bed. Coffee grounds would also be a nice touch. You have such a great set up with the Moccamaster coffee maker and there are even canisters labeled with "coffee", but it is empty. A bit of a tease and frankly we saw that and didn't think to open it to check before it got too late to go buy coffee grounds. It is truly a gem of a property. You will not be dissapointed!!

Amazing views, very large cabin, nice sauna, clean, and very well equipped! Very cozy with more than expected amenities!

There were no instructions on how to use the sauna, the drying cabinet, the laundry, or anything in the unit. The beds were not made prior to arrival. No blackout curtains with the midnight sun made sleeping a challenge.

Not enough bathroom

Comfortable bed with charging sockets by the bed and bedside lights. Living area was spacious and had wonderful views of the mountains. Upstairs terrace was convenient for viewing northern lights although the telegraph wires were slightly in the way. The short drive is very steep and may not be drivable if there is snow on the ground.

Extremely thin bedroom curtains let light in and didn't provide much privacy at night if the light was on. Security camera in the living room was disconcerting. TV remote didn't work. Was asked to strip beds and empty bins despite paying a cleaning fee. I had to make beds up on arrival.

The highlight of the property was its view and huge, well equipped kitchen and living room.

Cleanliness of the property was not really up to the mark.

By a mile, the most amazing thing is the location and the view: the main living room is vast and opens on this magnificent scenery of mountains & water. When you sit at night and watch through the large windows, you feel the luckiest person on planet. The rest of the house is also good: well equipped, a sauna to warm up.

They don't go the extra mile at all. This is a functional house but not a thoughtful host that welcomes you: the beds are not made, some sheets were missing, the bedrooms (except one) are very small and there is really only one shower. But these are minor details that you forget quickly based on the location.

Everything is as perfect

Great house! Beautiful views, large with lots of bed options, great kitchen. Multiple baths on two levels assures privacy. The sauna is a wonderful and easy to use. Lots of nearby restaurants to choose from. We travel a lot and this matches the best. I’d recommend to anyone

No complaints at all

The location is exceptional with amazing views. It is modern and clean.

Beds were not made up on arrival and no information book ( nothing about where bins are, local shops or restaurants etc) Curtains very thin in master bedroom. A problem with sun not setting.
