Lofoten panoramic luxury home with sauna

Location / view met/exceeded expectations. The property was as advertised. Very nicely appointed and comfortable. The communication email before arrival was thorough, and we were able to enter the property with absolutely no issue. The stay went as easily as could be hoped for.

There was a noticeable smell from the upstairs bathroom toilet upon arrival. My guess is the property hadn't been stayed in for at least a few days, and the smell dissipated as we stayed there, but it was unpleasant. Also, we couldn't locate any outdoor trash receptacles, so we didn't know where to put the garbage upon departure. These are both minor issues, and the stay was overall excellent.

When snow, the drive way was not cleared at all.

Everything - it’s amazing.

It's a beautiful house where you feel home in the very first moment. We stayed there for 3 nights with 6 ppl and had enough space for everyone. We enjoyed the northern lights from the house and all attractions were close by.

Unfortunately there were no basic supplies available in the kitchen (salt, pepper, coffee) and in front of the entry there was a wooden stair which was loose - this should be fixed.

The facilities are well equipped. The kitchen is just great, the rooms , entertainments, the views. It such a comfortable place.

Should have three bathrooms ( showers/ toilets)

Iconic location. House is built with the view in mind. Three large windows with unobstructed view of Reinebringen. Sauna is simple to use and quick to heat. Good quality kitchen appliances and stereo system etc. Plenty of space for a group of 9 including 4 teenagers. Short walk to nearby facilities (bakery, restaurant Gadus, Pukka travel for watersports etc, pickup point for ferry at Hamnoy). 20 min walk to pizzeria Underhuset. Bus stop directly behind house 5 min walk if without car (good but infrequent service to/from Leknes airport or Moskenes ferry). We had two issues small during our stay, quickly resolved/responded to by the management.

Thicker curtains in some rooms, especially given the constant sun for some months of the year, though this did not disrupt us.
