Our stay at Vila Velha Guest House was one of the best we’ve ever had. We enjoyed every moment. The beautiful, clean, and spacious house had everything you could wish for. The fridge was well stocked for breakfast, there was good coffee, and plenty of space for a family to spread out. We stayed in touch with the host via WhatsApp, and his mother met us with the keys and gave us a tour of the house. There is some parking a short walk away, but we sometimes left the car in the public car park by Hotel Museu, close to the town centre. Be prepared for some uphill and downhill walking — you should be reasonably mobile when staying in Mértola. We enjoyed exploring the town on foot and spotted some lovely birds along the river walk. We would love to come back!

En general muy bien: la situación, la atención y los regalitos para desayunar. No le faltaba a la cocina ningún detalle.

No había armario en la misma habitación. Había que subir escaleras. La sala para ver la televisión está en el sótano y el sofá no es muy cómodo.
