Gostamos de tudo, não temos nada a apontar. Casa impecável, desde a limpeza, conforto, equipamentos. Os anfitriões muito simpáticos e disponíveis.

Food for breakfast included, ham, cheese, salami, butter, marmelade, honey, bread, milk, juice, coffee...

Wonderful location, fabulously well equipped house. Very comfortable with everything you need for a short or long stay, I will be back with family and friends.

Nothing honestly this was a great location, in the middle of Mertola.

The guest house felt like being home. All that was needed and more was provided for. Having some food items such as bread, cheese and meat was a great idea. Ana’s homemade jam was a special treat. The hosts responded quickly and were helpful in getting our car parked and acquainting us with the house. The location, being in the old town, was excellent for enjoying the tower and the museums.

Great apartment that exceeded expectation. Much larger than claimed floor area with lots of space and all facilities. Comfortable bed and good sitting area. Lots of space to spread out. Highly recommended.

Very little, the property lacks any outside space and parking is a bit of a challenge in a historic town centre.

Vila Velha is a first class property. It has been finished to a very high standard and has everything you need for a comfortable and very enjoyable stay in the delightful town of Mértola. Ana and João are wonderful hosts and couldn’t be more helpful. They have thought of everything their guests might need right down to good recommendations for places to eat and local wines to drink. It can be a little tricky finding the property as the roads are narrow and windy in the old town but they actually came to find us when we were struggling with the Sat nav directions! Can’t recommend this property highly enough and we would definitely stay again if we were visiting this lovely part of Portugal again.

There is nothing not to like about this property. It is perfect for a couple but had plenty of room and privacy for a family or bigger group.

It is exceptionally clean and quiet and it is a very well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a beautiful and very spacey house, with everything you need in the kitchen, a dining table, a living room with another dining table, two bathrooms and another (third) toilets, and laundry facilities. The location is wonderful inside the old town.

There is no balcony and the windows open to the alleys. The third bed is located above the dining room, without a door or privacy, and its ceiling is very low (even for a small person such as myself)

We were welcomed by Joao, a great host, who provided breakfast and helpful information for us. For example, he had books for us about birds and other wildlife when he found out that we are nature enthusiasts and he gave us hiking maps as well. The Guest House is fabulous and equipped with everything one can wish. Great restored house with lots of charme in the old town of Mertola! We loved our stay!
