The farm house was clean and tight. excellent, the value of money excellent plus, The owner David excellent person, we will like to thank you for your Hospitality, and for sure we will see you again. Guys if you expecting it a 5 stars Hotel Don't book it, is a traditional farm house. Thanks 👍

Beautiful part of the countryside, quiet and the facilities were good.

Little hard to find even when we actually got onto the property it was hard to see where we were actually staying. Once we found it, it was great.

The guest house is beautiful and tucked away in the quietest country lanes imaginable, it is an authentic farm house with all the furnishings imaginable to make it feel like a home from home, an experience for anyone wishing to glimpse the lifestyle of rural living and enjoy the outstanding beauty of the scenery and tranquility of really escaping to the country. It is a working farm, expect to glimpse sheep and cattle in and around the yard (maybe horses too I didn't pay them much attention), quiet working collies eager to nosey at any new arrivals and the real german guard dogs (Dachshunds i believe) of the main house making sure you know they are there. The cats are there outside to welcome you on the evening and check you're up in the morning by peeping through the kitchen window. The cottage itself is exceptionally well kept and cleaned impeccably to welcome it's new guests. Hot water was instant for a toasty bath which is amazing. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable. With a cozy living room and spare bedroom if needed. Looked after by the hosts as they are just next door, anything you need would just be a tap on the door, despite the closeness there is complete privacy and sound is not a problem either way, the benefits of living in real stone houses meant no worries of disturbing or being disturbed.

Take it steady on the single track country lanes and be polite to anyone you come across, no need to speed around, everyone will get where they need to soon enough, giving way and passing places are there just need to be courteous. (It's only going to be another guest or neighbour) We actually didn't meet anyone on the lanes but could see someone not familiar being stressed by having to reverse a little.

David , was a top host. our stay was amazing.The cottage is clean fresh, all the rooms are big , beautiful, outstanding. We will be booking again.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful, in a stunning location and the owners were the kindest, most genuine salt of the earth people we could have wished to meet.

The location is stunning. Love that it is a working farm and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The house is very spacious yet cosy. Bed was super comfy. Had a good night sleep.The kitchen was well equipped. We had such a lovely stay. Lots of animals around. Dogs, cats and horses to greet us and a lovely walk up the hill with stunning 300 degree views of the area.

The stairs in the house were steep but we handled it. No shower. Just a bath. But that was okay in the end. No wifi but that was fine for us. Plenty of mud around so bring decent boots.
