Rural farm setting . Quiet . Scenic. Lovely cottage Gorgeous kitchen Comfy beds When warm welcome from owner Working farm so expect animals, but of mud , gorgeous sunrises.

Only a bath no shower , but fine for a few nights

"10/10 stay. Would happily stay again."

Location is set on a working farm which was beautiful. Wish we got more time to have a look around but met with cows, sheep etc every morning. Lovely views from the bedroom window. Every aspect of the cottage is rustic but that’s what we loved about it. It states clearly everywhere that there’s no shower but there’s a handheld shower head attached to the bath tap, which we knew about before and wasn’t hard for us to have a sit down shower with it. Was rather therapeutic actually.

The only downfall (if you could call it that) was that you don’t have your own thermostat and you’d have to ask the owners to put the heating on. Which I do get as the cottage is attached to the main house so would cost a bomb to heat everything up. Was just a touch chilly at times travelling with a 5 month old baby in October. But, as soon as asked they put it on for a few hours no issues.

"Lovely rural stay"

Beautifully decorated and very spacious making it great value for money. Lovely big bath, comfortable bed and nice view out to the fields. Friendly host!

A shower would be a useful addition.

"Farmhouse not far from Oswestry"

Lovely big farmhouse in quiet farm surrounded by lovely scenery, the friendly owner greeted us and made sure we were OK . Cosy warm comfortable beds ,huge bathroom and the kitchen had plenty of utensils. Really enjoyed our 2 night stay.
