"A rural retreat...a definite place to unwind"

A lovely cottage set in the countryside. The host was lovely and welcoming and even walked with us to show us where the lake was.

"We only stayed one night but loved the beauty of the farm and remoteness."

Wonderful location, beautiful and remote with farmyard views. Spacious, clean with comfortable beds and large kitchen. Host was very welcoming, and great to talk about the farm and local countryside.

The patchy wifi and 4G didn't bother us as was lovely to enjoy the remoteness of the cottage and being away from it all.

"Lovely remote setting in a traditional, rustic farmhouse."

Lovely cottage on a working farm. Will equipped. Everything as described.

Just note that there isn’t a shower only a bath - this is explained in the property listing so it wasn’t a surprise to us. Just one to note if you really want a shower!!

"Lovely rural cottage"

Large comfortable cottage used for work. It is along a single track road, so use the what3words the hosts provide you with. It’s on a working farm too, so expect the usual farm smells, but you are greeted by a very friendly dog and an array of cats! Hosts very helpful. Tea and coffee provided, but bring milk. No shower, but that is in the description. Very quiet and peaceful.

Delightful cottage big, spacious plenty of room to enjoy. Inside. Outside soaking up the views of the countryside quiet. At the back of the property a short walk up the hill greeting the sheep, taking in the country air a quaint lake at the top. Soaking up the gorgeous views. To the front of the cottage plenty of animals to be seen as this was a working farm. Being able to connect with nature at the palm of your hand and to see how the other half live. I liked how David greeted us and welcomed us to his cottage, what a lovely man! We also met Julie is wife with their extended animals . We will hopefully be back for a longer stay. As I'm sure there is much more to see and do our trip was one night stay due to work commitments. Thank-you David and Julie for our stay! Paul ,Sarah

I couldn't say that their wasn't anything I didn't like what more could you ask for being around nature and the magical views and friendly people.
